Roevin continue their sponsorship programme (since 2004) with The Institution of Mechanical Engineers. The initiative promotes the IMechE through the Roevin brand and the professional status of the Chartered and Incorporated Engineer (C.Eng and I.Eng) within engineering and associated industry market places. Through Roevin, IMechE members will have access to career advice, which will include structuring the ideal CV and interview and presentation techniques. Representatives will be attending regional dinners and events including universities and undergraduate presentations. IMechE vision statement;

Roevin is a member of FAST Corporate Services from and is committed to working towards registration to the FAST standard for software compliance FSSC-1:2004.

FAST Corporate Membership, which is supported by over 2,700 UK organisations, provides an education programme created to help organisations achieve excellence in IT management. It helps companies ensure they are using software legally and making the most of their IT assets.

The FAST Standard for Software Compliance FSSC-1:2004 (formerly FAST Audit Certification), a private standard developed in collaboration with BSI, is the ‘mark of excellence’ in software management. The staged corporate membership programme assists organisations to identify and eliminate risks relating to IT management, helps them to expose illegal software, set up purchasing and installation procedures, educate staff and get the most from IT assets.

CHAS – The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme

CHAS – The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme

The scheme has been developed by local authority H&S officers, the Health and Safety Executive and with the support of procurement professionals. The assessment has two stages, the first reviewed our health and safety standards set by the 1974 Health and Safety at Work etc Act and the new Construction (Design and Management) Regulations. The second stage checked our ability to carry out the specific work which we under take (supply of temporary and permanent staff). The Scheme is available for use by any public and private sector organisations to use when short listing contractors, suppliers and consultants who are proposing to work for them. Our parent company, Adecco, were accredited to CHAS in March 2007 and Roevin’s accreditation is expected late September.
